The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) recognizes incredible individuals who are committed to a high level of volunteer and service. These individuals work tirelessly to help solve some of the toughest challenges facing their communities, and our nation.
If you are interested in earning a PVSA, you must do so through a Certifying Organization (CO). Be sure to check in with the organizations you volunteer with to see if they are certified to administer Presidential Volunteer Service Awards. If not, encourage your volunteer center or organization to apply to be a PVSA Certifying Organization by sending them the link to this website. To be sure you qualify as a PVSA volunteer, read about PVSA Volunteer Eligibility. We also have some frequently asked questions located here as a resource, when needed.
Note: As of May 2019, we will no longer offer volunteer account creation and volunteer hours’ tracking to individuals. You can use this sample spreadsheet to track your hours, and then send it to your Certifying Organization (the organization you’re volunteering for) when it’s time to place an award order.
